best bang for the buck...no pun intended

I own a Lyman Digital trigger scale also...it's for sale. The Timney trigger scale will "break" when the trigger/hammer falls, leaving you with an easy to read weight as shown by the sliding indicator. Simply slide the indicator back to zero with one finger and start another reading. A digital scale on the other hand, will not 'break' and tends to give inconsistent readings, depending on how careful you are when using/pulling the scale. This Timney scale and others like it are simple, accurate, easy to use,and fast. Metal construction.
