Looked good but didn't work with my TV
Item looked just like the one I needed to replace but did not control my TV. It was emitting but must have been a different model as my TV did not recognize the signal.

Good DVR
After trying and returning a Zmodo and Lorex DVR I decided to search on EBay. I decided to give this one a chance after doing research on DVRs and it out performs both of the ones I had tried. It is somewhat larger than the two others I tried but it can accommodate 2 hard drives. The web interface is far better than the other two but still not perfect. With one of the other DVRs searching recorded video was nearly impossible. It seems that most DVRs now want you to set up remote access on some server somewhere which I don't like the thought of someone else possibly having access to my system. This one also can be set up that way but also can use RTSP which I'm using without having to set up access on a server. It is also the only one that would support remote access via Windows Phone. So far I am quite happy with it, my only concern is long term reliability. My Q-see DVR died just over three years in service.
