Motion Pro Seal Mate Tool for Leaking Fork Seals Dirt Bike Mountain Motorcycle
    Dec 21, 2017
Great Initial go to for leaking seals
I used something similar years ago on dirt bikes, to try to preserve fork seals by getting the track and trail grit out of the seals and dust covers. This is the first time that I have tried it on leaking seals and it worked amazingly. I was going to replace the seeping fork seals on a Suzuki LS650, but decided to try the Seal mate first. These weren't leaking bad, like full blown seals do. They were just leaving a film on the forks. After a couple of rounds with the Seal Mate, the seeping stopped completely and I didn't have to replace the seals. If your forks are pitted or gouged, this is probably a waste of time and you just need to get some new forks. Or, if there is a little geyser shooting out of a fork with each down pressure on the bars, it is probable too late to try this. But, if the seals are just seeping, the fork tubes look to be in good shape, and especially if the seeping started after the bike was sitting for a long time, try the Seal Mate first. It may just do the trick without needing to replace the seals.

    OK for the price
The packaging wasn't great, but it was adequate. It was wrapped in packing material then in a soft plastic type package. This is probably why one of the mounting flanges was bent. It was easily straightened though by putting the flange in a vise between 2 blocks of wood and bending it back to straight. The mounting holes were too small to fit the stock bolts for the backrest mount of my Suzuki Boulevard C90. No big problem there either, Just had to use a drill press to make the holes the right diameter to fit on the bike. Once modified, this seems like it will work just fine. For the price, I didn't expect more.
Honda VT 750 C Shadow ACE & AERO - NEW SOR Cruise Control / Throttle Lock

    Great Throttle Lock
I have used the Vista Cruise on quite a few bikes the didn't have electronic cruise control, over the years. This is a real must have for any cruiser travelling any kind of distance. The ability to rest the right hand is an essential on a long ride. When installed correctly, the throttle lock can be released with the little lock lever, or in an emergency, simply twisting the throttle will override the lock. This is a great, inexpensive, solution to provide cruise control to bikes that didn't come with it installed.
