Works with points, car fires right up now
I bought this for my 1971 Ford LTD with the 400, it’s basically stock, and I bought this and was weary that it would work with stock points, well it works with stocks points and the car fires right up, has tons of low end torque and the points haven’t blown up! Great price and Pertronix was an answer to prayer, no more hard starts using starter fluid, no more nothing, awesome product!

Breeze to install, Fitted so well
I bought these for my 1971 ford Ltd with the ford 400 engine, only downside was the fact that every time I’d touch it, it would get stains on it but that’s to be expected. I loved these and the chrome I so shiny, it helped me win an award at a car show because my engine bay was so clean, if you need valve covers, go with edelbrock, you’ll be glad you did

Love the design and looks great!
I'm updating my review, i put them on edelbrock valve covers, only thing is you don't use a grommet which confused me, but that's my own fault, if you can fit this in the area that you can, it's a really good item, just kind of bulky but overall not too bad, just do keep in mind you won't use a grommet, but the fin works great for me because my power steering oil cooler lines run right by the breather and it prevents the hose from contaminating the filter with power steering fluid, so I recommend it, it just takes some getting used to that's all.
