Why so dull?

I recommend with one caveat: my axe arrived without a sharp edge, rendering it useless until I could get it sharpened, at additional cost to me. Adding that cost in made it a poor value, compared to buying a new, factory-sharpened axe. The axe itself is of reasonable quality, and seems to be well constructed. I've just never purchased a new axe that wasn't sharp and ready-to-go, right out of the box.
