Great audiophile CD player.
Actually, I wanted it only to listen to CDs, having read the reviews. I must say the sound is amazing. It beats my former player (an OPPO bdp 83). If you don´t mind the aesthetics or functionality (using the joystick as a controller isn´t that intuitive...), yo get a great audiophile CD player for a ridiculous price.

Great protection. Ultra lightweight.
Ultra lightweight! Great protection for your instrument, yet light as a gig bag. I really recommend it, couldn't believe how light it is when I first carried it. You won't regret buying it and will never buy a standard hard case again.

My first Beatles' album
Being 37, The Beatles were more from my parent´s generation than from mine. As a music lover, I always liked some of their songs, though never bought any of their records; until this new approach to their music appeared. So, this is the first Beatles record I ever buy. And I did it because of the music itself (I think the selection of songs is very good) and because I was very curious to listen to it in a DTS 5.1 mix. I must say that some of the songs (and their remixes) are just perfect. "while my guitar gently weeps" and "Eleanor Rigby" deserve the buying on their own. One single (slightly) negative consideration: I always thought it was amazing how they could record such wonderful songs and arrangements with the recording technology of the sixties, and really enjoyed the "primitive" and somehow exagerated stereo effects. I would have liked to hear it transferred to 5.1 with the same old dramatism...
