Harman Kardon AVR-1610S 5.1 Channel Network A/V Receiver

Every feature I needed

This is the first Harmon product I've purchased. I've heard good and bad about them, but the AVR 1610S had every option I was looking for in a receiver. After a few weeks of use I am very satisfied with my purchase. The sound quality is great and the 1610s was a breeze to set up. I would definitly recomend this AVR if your looking for an easy to use, feature packed AVR with quality sound at an affordable price. Update: I've now used this AVR for a couple years and I am still impressed with it. It has never had an issue and still sounds supurbe. For the price paid it was an excellent buy. If you want a good sounding AVR at an affordable price with advanced features consider the HK1610s.

Klipsch RP-250C Center Channel Ebony Black

Best choice of center channel speaker for the size.

This is an outstanding center channel speaker. I have used it for a few years now and I am still very happy with it. It sounds amazing and will really crank.

Klipsch Ref R-51M pr Bookshelf Speakers

A good speaker, but Klipsch's lower quality series. Still, a good bang for the buck.

I'm only giving them 3 stars because they are at best what was expected for the price paid. They are just not super impressive like my other Klipsch speakers. But they are just Refs and not RPs like the others. If you want a good speaker, go with the RPs. These I use for satalite speakers for my home theater system. The system is a small room system, so I didn't need anything super powerful to complete it. These speakers do the job nicely and I am happy with my purchase, just not wowed by their sound quality. The build quality is good. Klipsch doesn't build a bad speaker no matter what level you buy. I'm still kind of questioning my giving them 3 stars, but yeah, they get 3 stars. That is a true rating for their overall quality. My other Klipsch speakers get 5, and 3 stars is how these would compare to those. It's the difference between Rs and RPs.
