It's a CD
Good quality CD from a good brand. It's what you'd expect from Target 10 years ago.

Exactly what I needed
Upping the ram took a load off of the CPU (moving what should have been memory back and forth to the disk using clock cycles). The memory is fast. After buying this and an SSD for my HP Paviolion G6-1A30US, my only bottle kneck is my processor. It runs Windows 10 well, but it doesn't run Windows 10 as a guest in VMWare without locking up (so, very good for general internet browsing, documents, media).
