ROCKIN
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the album to own by Brother Cane. Everything comes together on this disc. eXCELLENT ALL THE WAY AROUND. gREAT VOCALS, GREAT SONGS AND THAT BC driving rockin sound. Heavy without being noise. melodic always....easily my favorite by them although the first album with Got no Shame is a close second

Outlaws Live It dont get much better than this!!!!
2 of 2 found this helpful Bring it Back Alive is one of the greatest live albums ever recorded. It compares with Skynyrd's One More from the Road, Frampton Comes Alive, Allman's at Fillmore East, and Foghat Live. The guitar playing on this set is truly incredible. This album showcases the Outlaws at a time when they were changing from a country rock act into a full fledged coliseum rock army. The combination of Hughie Thomasson's blazing stratocaster licks and Billy Jones tempered more melodic approach are in full force here. Add in the almost metal like licks of Freddie Salem and this disc rocks from start to finish. The bands dual drummers are understated but provide a rhythmic back bone and feel that is such an essential piece to this band. ( Thanks for comin back guys!!!) I was lucky enough to catch this line up a few times back in the day and this album more than stands the test of time. Rock on Hughie. You are the King of the Statocaster!!!!!!!!
