Beware
1 of 3 found this helpful Apparently these straps are intended for temporary use only. I bought two pairs and installed them on my sailboat Bimini a month ago. The boat stays tied up in a marina year round with the Bimini deployed.
Just before Christmas I visited the boat and discovered the Bimini had collapsed due to the plastic adjustable buckle not holding the webbing. Two buckles were missing and two were still in place. I think the plastic buckle is too slick to hold the nylon webbing and metal buckles should be used.
