4 of 4 found this helpful I found you have to have it on a hard surface, kitchen counter is better than a table. Also readings tend to wander for the same item for the first 2-3 minutes, so I let it warm up a little before taking meaningful measurements.
I find it better, every few measurements, to let it go back to zero and hit the ZERO button then it is to zero it using the calibration weight. I was just using it for air gun pellets, 7-11 grains. Measuring heavier things may work better if you calibrate with the weight.
This is supposed to work with increasing weight, like pouring gunpowder to a certain weight. I find it sometimes waits a couple of seconds before giving the final weight. If I were adding weight I would do it slowly.
This is not a $600 or $2000 unit, but if you take your time and see it's particularities it is a very good deal.
