Good scanner with a little glitch
This is just a 50 channel scanner, so if you live in a big city , this might not be what you're looking for. I live in Rural Central Nebraska, so it's perfect for me. The unit comes with weather alert which is what I was looking for, but when set in alert mode and scanning other frequencies, it locks the keyboard up if you attempt to monitor your weather radio. There might be something in the users manual which also didn't come with this radio. But for 35 bucks, I'm not sweating it.

Punchy bass and great mids for a 45 watt tuner.
1 of 2 found this helpful I owned one of these 20 years ago, and I liked it so much, I bought another one. Pioneer's Flouroscan line produced some of the most unique and durable stereo tuners that were available on the market for that time period. Proper pricing for one of these units in good shape should run around $100 plus shipping.
