This is an incredible concept, though if you have older cats it may take more effort getting them to use it. I did get one of my three to use it by pointing the spout towards where her mouth would be to drink rather than pointing down into the sink. Try experimenting yourself. I got down in front of the cat and lapped from the stream myself to teach her what it was about. Silly but it worked. It's got a nice, small form that allows it to easily fit into most spaces on or next to the sink.

These are nice units
Haven't gotten started on the project it's going to be used with, but I tested it out and it appears to be accurate. Good item for such a low price.

Clean audio and a work of art
1 of 1 found this helpful Recently bought this item and it arrived in a very timely fashion considering it came all the way from China. When I pulled it out of the box and unwrapped it, my first reaction was the pictures on eBay don't do it justice. This thing is a work of art. I also noticed it used a lot of high quality parts, particularly the 105 deg. C rated Nichicon electrolytic caps. I got a bit concerned when I saw they were only rated for 25V since the supply is supposed to be 24v. Normally you don't run them that close to their maximum ratings. The three of them at the rear are ahead of the power switch and connected across the power supply all the time. If you use a poorly regulated power supply it could easily exceed the voltage rating and cause them to pop.
A friend of mine also has one of these and I asked him about it and he thinks these parts are "binned," in other words they're probably actually 35V but could be labeled either 35 of 25V. He's used his almost constantly for many months now and said he's never had a problem. One of the other things he suggested was changing out the FETs that actually drive the headphones to an IRF510N as it has less gate capacitance. This will give less roll-off of the high end. The FETs are located on the heatsinks furthest away from the tube. He also said an American made 12AU7 sounds a bit better, to which I suggested it's lower plate voltage relative, the fairly obscure 12U7. He took my suggestion and said it went from great to "freaky clean." I'll probably use mine as stock for now and won't go to any extraordinary lengths to do these upgrades on mine, but it's nice to know this already five star product could be given a sixth.
