Buy It Today !
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a great series that delivers season after season. I never watch it on tv but buy the dvd set each year and watch it in 3 or 4 nights. Highly addictive, never fails to surprise and holds you at the edge of your seat. Hope they go for at least 10 seasons.

Will Watch This DVD Again !
7 of 10 found this helpful This movie is great if you are a fan of horror/vampire genre movies. I read negative comments about Uwe Boll as a director before I saw Bloodrayne and I have to disagree. He does a great job with Bloodrayne. I haven't seen anything else he has directed but may do so. From the DVD interview, he comes across as a pretty smart and educated guy with a sense of humor about the movies he makes and his critics. The DVD version I saw, has the Uwe Boll interview, MOS CGI special effects clips, and director's commentary. I would try and find one with more special features. It did have the PC game included.
This movie is lots of fun to watch with plenty of blood spilling action. Plus, with beautiful Kristanna Loken playing the lead, you can't lose. Ms. Loken plays Rayne, a half human half vampire out to kill her father, played by Ben Kingsley (remember him as Ghandi ?), the most powerful vampire in the world who killed Rayne's human mother. Atmospheric locations and cool special effects add to the high quality of the movie. I repeat, if you are a fan of this type of movie, it is well worth the money.
There is a Bloodrayne computer/video game which I don't know anything about. I heard about Bloodrayne from Wizard magazine and I have read the comic book.
