front sight is for a GAS BLOCK mount not a flat rail

If you look closely at the pictures, the front sight is very tall. When put on a FLAT picatinny rail, you will not see the front post. The front sight is for mounting to the lower positioned GAS BLOCK rail, which is roughly 3/8 lower. Then the sights will line up. See the picture on the ad where the two sights are placed on the same level plane. The quality is GREAT, very sturdy. But, you may not be able to use the front sight (at least not without serious adjustment if it can go that low) on a flat plane pic-rail.
