The Contemporary Parallel Bible
This is a wonderful study Bible. The NKJV and NIV are the two best versions of the Bible-after the KJV. The KJV can be difficult to understand. The NKJV is easier read. The NIV is the easiest to read and stays true to the KJV. It is wonderful to have both copies in one book. If there is difficulty understanding one scripture you can glance across the page and read the same text written another way. I have had up to four Bibles out at one time. This is a wonderful way to read and study the scriptures using only one Bible.

New concept and a lot of fun!

I was looking for a game that offered a unique twist to the "been there-done that" games on the market and we've all been there, right? This particular game had proven itself thru good reviews and This is my first attempt at a "flying" game. I really enjoyed the game a lot. It has a good story line and the controls are easy to pick up. There's a good mix of just plain fun play and some rather challenging, if not down right hard, tasks to complete. But even the harder play was fun! The only problem I had was making sharp U-turns with the planes which could have been my lack of coordination or, perhaps, the way the game was intended to be played. It was a pain in the rear for me, not to mention time consuming, when in combat or making attempts at picking up upgrade tokens or other items. Even if you aren't into flying, which I'm not, this game is worth checking out. It will provide enough entertainment to make it worth the money. I gave it a 4 out 5 because I simply didn't feel I was able to maneuver the planes as well as I should be able to and there were a few times, during very difficult missions, that I yearned to be on the ground with a sword or a butt burning spell!!

Streams in the Desert
In my opinion, this is the best devotional on the market. I own several of these. I have the original which is falling apart from use. I bought another of the orginal to have on hand. This one was purchased to give to a family member that is seeking the Lord. The first one I owned was given to me by best friend (and my minister's wife) when I was seeking the Lord. You won't go wrong with this devotional. It much more juicy than most.
