Unremarkable phone

The system was amazingly easy to set up. Pretty much plug it in, record a message, and you're finished. You need to put in phone numbers in the phone book, but that would have to be done with any phone. The ringer is sufficiently loud, even for my parents who no longer hear well. It has a great range and the batteries hold a charge well. The problems with the phone have to do with the sound quality and the handset itself. At times, the sound is so crackly that you cannot understand the caller. It's not always the same phone, so I don't understand why. On the handset, the "Off" button is located in such a way that your face frequently hangs it up. Overall, even with the problems above, I'm happy with the phone. I'm not sure I would buy it again, but it wasn't expensive and it generally works.
