Best 1440p gaming laptop I've ever owned
1 of 1 found this helpful This laptop manages to pack all of the essential 1440p gamer features in. It has a 16:10 16" screen at 1440p, allows 144/60Hz switching with a hot key, has a MUX switch, and pairs up a RTX 3070 with the 5800H to power 1440p gaming without a problem. Mine has blown the doors off RTX 3080 laptops paired with the right memory. Mine came with single sided Micron 3200 memory, but the 3rd set of timings were not great. I replaced it with a set of dual channel Micron with tighter tertiary timings gaining about 3-8% FPS in most games and up to 10% in a few. 1% low FPS also gained about 8% across the board, so check if your L5Pro shipped with good memory if you want to maximize this unit's performance.
