Great Rags, Great Idea, 2 issues.
1 of 2 found this helpful This is a great product for people who are just getting started and want versatility. The bag is not too bad, comes with 2 decent (more or less proprietary) lollipops, and the rags are a great quality and seem like they will last a long time if kept well. My only 2 gripes (and this maybe because of keeping costs down) are that;
1) The frame kept twisting and I had to keep straightening it out. I feel like this is because of the hollow tubes that the frame can be built from. The twisting is not anything damaging to the frame or the rags so more of a cost cutting nuisance.
2) Hoping that this is just mine but one of the poles would not go inside the other. I really had to push and twist to get it in and now it is stuck in that part of the frame. Not sure why this happened. I know the one I purchased was open box but from Glide Gear themselves. Here is to hoping that part can be solved.
If you are expecting to get something akin to Matthews frame or Digital Juice, lower your expectations a tad. But if you want to have some cost effective diffusion for a shoot this is a great addition for any set.
