Lacks an essential function
This is a basic remote controling the necessary functions of the CD player EXCEPT it does not turn the CD player on/off.
That's right - unlike every other remote I've ever owned, this one lacks a power button. So you either have to leave the player on all the time, or manually power it on & off.
Of course, if you always switch out the CDs in the turntable, this isn't a problem. But if you tend to load up all five CDs and leave them in for a few days while you are playing them now & then, as I do, it's an annoyance.

Seems to be working fine.
I have a few of these devices - they allow me to link non-Bose speakers to the Bose SoundTouch system. The system itself is merely adequate, but tremendously flexible if you use one of these.
