Good reader not a good Tablet. Ipad lovers look elsewhere!!
2 of 2 found this helpful I purchased the Cruz Reader to use as a buget tablet and something to experiment with modifying/hacking. It runs Android 2.1 or 2.0 and does what its designed for well enough. Book/document reader, light internet surfing on the wifi works well and there are a few games you can install to play when your tired of reading or out of wifi range. The screen is nice and crisp for a resistive touchscreen with only a hint of fuzziness. The basic apps that come with the device are okay but the app store will be needed for better versions that provide more functionality. The memory and processor are enough for reader and light games but many other apps are beyond this readers ability to run. Video playback on the Cruz is often unwatchable and some video codecs wont play at all. Compared to other present generation devices the Micro Cruz R102 will feel dissappointing but is comparative to other early devices.
