Quality tool
1 of 1 found this helpful It's not very often you find a true bargain these days, but this is one. VERY accurate tool of high quality. Matches my Starrett micrometer for accuracy. I almost feel guilty getting a tool of this quality for this price. Highly recommended.

Fairly decent product.
1 of 2 found this helpful It's not a bad product. It's a good idea that could be improved upon. And hopefully someone will. The metal could be a little thicker and still not be not be a problem sewing it into leather or other material. But it is made of rather tough metal. Almost like spring steel. For those wondering, the main stem and the clasp hook are both 25 thousanths of an inch thick. The clasp handle is 50 thousanths. That clasp handle could be a little longer to create more of an overhang, and it would be easier to get it un-clasped. As it is, they are just about even and it is a mite difficult.
It is rather expensive for what it is. I bought it because there is no other type of clip that is similar that I am aware of. There is obviously a lot of tension on the clasp hinge, so I would do as they advise and keep that well lubricated. We'll see how long it lasts.
