Slimmer than OEM fender
Mounts well, but has a much slimmer profile than the OEM rear fender. I've been told the UFO fender is closer to the OEM fender. The Acerbis one leaves about a 3/4" gap on either side rather than mating flush with the side panels, as the OEM fender does (due to the slimmer design. Probably 2-3" narrower than OEM fender.

Does NOT fit 1986 KTM 250MX
Ordered this for my 1986 KTM MX250. Does not fit, as the master cylinder is longer than the guard is. This part is clearly made to fit the 1987-1989 KTM's, which have a shorter master cylinder. I tried to contact Ted Devol about this issue through eBay to confirm his input, and was disappointed to get no response. Photo shows the incorrect guard next to the installed correct guard.
