I just finished the container. Healthy and tasty!!
I like this product. I started with the chocolate flavor first, then tried vanilla. I mix it with 2% or fat free milk and a spoon. A blender or shaker bottle may be quicker, but a spoon works. I use 1 - 1 1/2 scoops per 16 ounces if milk. Vanilla mixes easier than the chocolate and is a little smoother but that is only because the vanilla has half the fiber as the chocolate. That's not to knock the chocolate, I'm going to get chocolate again next. But, for the chocolate I may switch to a blender. The product is a bit gritty, but that's the fiber, not a defect. And if you are looking at this, you must want a raw, natural, healthy, product that is full of nutrients, which this is. It's a great high % source of fiber and protein which are sometimes hard get enough of on a daily basis. The nutritionist at my job recommended this and drinks it as part of her diet too. Does it taste like a Wendy's milkshake? Heck, no. But its pretty tasty and filling. I generally don't get hungary for breakfast, but for some reason this is something I find appealing to drink early in the day to get my metabolism going.

Now my main METAL distortion effect!!!!!!!
I really like this pedal and it is now my favorite metal distortion stompbox.... and I have several. I always liked my Digitech Metal Master. It was my first pedal, and the one that started my collection of about 30 stompboxes. Up until buying this TL-2, it was still my favorite. I also own a HardWire CM-2 Tube Overdrive, Digitech Hod Rod, Digitech Tone Driver, Boss Metal Zone, Boss Metal Core, Boss Mega Distortion, and Original MXR Dime Distortion. So I have plenty of experience with distortion stompboxes, although I've stuck to Digitech and Boss for the most part as you can see. This is definitly a step up from the Metal Master and the others I own, and I definitely dig the True Bypass. The Blue LED is a nice touch and very bright. This thing is very rugged. I've always thought the Digitechs were even more tank-like than the Boss pedals which were the benchmarks for metal chassis stompboxes. This has two regular knobs for Level and Gain and two concentric knobs for Highs, Lows, Mids, and Mid Frequency so it has all the main parameters covered. Many metal distortion boxes skip the mid and mid freq. The Tight/Loose switch is a nice addition although I generally stick with the Tight setting. The loose setting seems a little muddy, but that is when the parameters are set for the tight setting, so tweaking things and having a clear idea of the Loose tone you want would probably fix that. I haven't needed to use it yet but that doesn't mean that setting sucks. Although a lot of people stick with the Tight setting from what I've seen in other reviews. The aluminum knobs look great but I have heard that they can can come loose or come off because they are just glued or pressed on covers for plastic knobs. It's nothing a little glue can't fix. I haven't noticed this on my TL-2, but my CM-2 Tube Overdrive which I got used on Ebay does have this issue. Hopefully Digitech gets enough customer feedback to become aware of this problem and fix it. I never use batteries in my stompboxes, only wall adapters, so I can't comment on battery life. It only took me a few dead batteries to realized adapters are the way to go, especially with long effects chains with several pedals. Ok, I'm gonna shut up now. Bottom line, this is a great sounding and designed stompbox that you will enjoy. It's a great bang for the buck!!!!!!!! Rock on!

Durable and reliable in your effects chain
I bought this because I wanted a more durable tuner that I can rely on in my effects chain so I won't have to unplug to tune. I have a Sabine STX-1100 which cost about 40-50 bucks but that is plastic and doesn't have a footswitch. Plus, if it got accidentally stepped on it would break. So I bought a Beringer TU-300 which is also plastic but is a stompbox configuration for about $25. It worked pretty well for a while in my chain but eventually after about a year the wall outlet power adapter socket wore and would intermittently lose contact which would cause popping and unreliable operation of my whole effects chain. So, I used it for a while out of the loop and now it seems to have a hard time even picking up the guitar signal. That said, I then needed a higher end more durable tuner and I have several Boss pedals, so this was an obvious choice. Digitech Hardwire was another consideration, but I went with Boss since the Boss TU series has been a benchmark for quite some time. The Accutune feature is a nice touch to give you a little more confidence that you are tuned properly and your note will ring true for more than just a small fraction of a second. It is very bright and easy to read. I also think it looks better than the Digitech, although Digitech pedals, which I also have several of, do feel more beefy and heavy compared to Boss pedals. I really don't use a lot of the different modes that this has, so I can't comment on that. I only use the wall adapter as I've found batteries drain fast in most pedals. The pedal is also very quiet when engaging and disengaging the foot switch for muted tuning. Although $100 bucks is a good chunk of change, it is worth it to have accurate, reliable tuning ready at the push of a footswitch. I wish I added it to my setup earlier to be honest.
