Brilliant.
I'm only reading them because from my new place I can see the back of the former Britannia Row Studios, which rather pleases me! I don't normally read this type of book, preferring rather more highbrow literature, but this book is unexpectedly good and very well written. I think because the author is not a hack journalist/music journalist but an author, he writes very well. I decided to read the book to glean what I could of how the studio/local surroundings is described and there are little local nuggets here and there, plus the whole late 1982 recording process is of interest.
