Buyer’s remorse
Bought on the basis of several rave reviews, none of which bore any relation to the product I received.
Painful to wear after a while
Limited headband adjustment possible.
Headset far too small for all five adults on whom I tested the headphones.
Sound- too much bass; too dull. Poor mid range. I’ve had two (much cheaper) pairs of Sennheiser headphones over the last 15 years or so and they have both been much better, in most respects. Sadly, the cable on one was damaged, so I needed a new set.
Cable shorter than cables on older Sennheiser headphones. Short cable on these headphones makes them more difficult to use with musical instruments.
The set I bought was tried with musical instruments, tablets & more old-fashioned audio (to see which was best). Not great on any but slightly better on a hi-fi and a synth. Pretty awful on a tablet.
The only good thing I can see is the build quality. They are quite sturdy, compared with some earlier models.
