Best practical watch for the price. Highly recommended.
This is an excellent watch in many ways for the price. The tritium tubes on the hands and indices is the signature feature of Luminox watches, being always legible and bright all night long without needing to charge it to a light source. It has an alarm feature on top of the standard chronograph which is handy for keeping appointments and the alarm tone is quite loud which is excellent! It also has a multifunctional bezel for measuring elapsed time to 60mins which is useful and doubles up as a world time GMT showing the 24 main cities so one can work out the time in other places simultaneously other than one's home time. The band is sturdy and comfortable and practical as it can be used as a ruler to measure the length of things. It has a sapphire crystal and is lightweight using Carbonox so it won't feel heavy on the wrist if worn for long periods. Again a very practical watch designed for the outdoors whether trekking, camping, swimming or for snorkeling as it is also water resistant to 100m. Overall a quality watch, nicely presented with many pros and very few, if minor cons.

Lots of features for the price.
Unbeatable value. More features than any conventional watch and almost rivals smartwatches in quantity. Comfortable to wear and solar movement makes it reliable for all outdoor activities. Would recommend if you like the toughness and size of G shocks.

A Big Heavy Duty Dive Watch that Oozes Quality.
A very solid timepiece with the usual Swiss quality materials. The movement is excellent!. Only losing -2 secs a day crown up and +2 secs dial up. Definitely Chronometer status even though this particular Sellita SW500 isn't regulated for it. Outstanding!...way more accurate than any other automatic timepiece I have owned. The Depth Guage was a unique feature that got my attention when looking for a quality timepiece. There is a non chronograph Depth gauge version currently also on sale but the Chronograph version whilst having a more busy dial does give you the added flexibility to use 2 timers simultaneously. The rotating bezel to time up to 60 mins and the Chronograph to measure up to 12 hours. Also the Sellita SW 500 movement has a superior power reserve of 48 hours compared to non Chronograph model of 38 hours. The lume is ok but could be bit brighter howver, the room to create larger markers would be difficult given the additional markings of the depth gauge which take up some space on the dial. It is a large watch for average wrists but if you don't mind wearing a timepiece that will last you for years without niggling issues found in lower priced watches, you would be a very happy customer. In this case, you do get what you pay for. Good job Oris!
