Possibly the best value in a pocket knife
5 of 5 found this helpful I have always been a traditionalist when it comes to pocket knives. There is just something about handling a stag handled pocket knife that is well oiled and worn with age. After loosing my Case Stockman I planned on purchasing another, until I found the Benchmade Griptilian. This knife offers everything I could possible want in a knife, except charm and romance. It is indestructible (within reason), never NEEDS oiling (no, it won't rust), holds a very nice edge, locks and unlocks with minimal effort, and is comfortable in the hand. I doubt that I will ever roll it in my fingers and admire the design, the patina, and the colors found in a true stag handled knife, but I sure as heck will use it daily and never worry about it closing prematurely on my fingers, or cracking a fragile handle from a slight drop to a hard surface. This is a working mans (or woman's) knife, and a damn fine one it is. I highly recommend this knife for daily carry.

Good quality, nice dust shields for the cost!
These fit perfectly and are of good quality. Sprayed with epoxy primer followed by a couple of coats of satin black urethane. Given the option and in retrospect I would have been willing to pay a bit more and gotten a powder coat finish just to save time. For the price these are excellent.

As good as it gets!
