A cheap stopgap option
If you are on a tight budget and want to enjoy some more low end from your music and movies you can't go wrong with this sub.
Instead of spending $200 on a mediocre subwoofer, pick this up for under $70 used, and save up your extra money so that you can eventually replace it with a SVS, HSU or BIC subwoofer.
I use these in my desktop setup in a small room. The sub blended in perfectly with my speakers and brings in the lower end that I needed.
You will not like this subwoofer if you are in a large room, or if you want the bass to rattle your windows from 10 ft away.
Caution: This doesn't have a built in LPF, so you you need to adjust it from your reciever.
