Surpising Tubes
3 of 8 found this helpful The 6N2P-EV tubes are a very interesting tube. They're heralded by Lampizator as excellent tubes. I bought them and tried them out first in a couple of amplifiers.
They were noisy and didn't work terribly well.
Some deoxit and burn-in later, and they actually work quite well.
But I didn't get them for an amp, I got them for a dac.
I put them in my MHDT Labs Atlantis using an adapter and these brought the soundstage in spades.
Truly, the biggest soundstage of the two dozen tube variants I've tried in the dac.
They hit hard in the bass and are highly detailed as well. The treble is a bit much for my treble-sensitive ears, but you can tame it in a tube amplifier.
They seem to require about an hour of warm-up with each use before they reach full detail.
Very interesting tubes that I'll keep in my collection since they're so inexpensive and offer an out-of-your-head soundstage.

Like a Les Paul But Comfortable
The best neck of any guitar I've ever played. It's just an incredible guitar to play. Tonally versatile with all of the trimmings of a high end guitar.
If there is any negative, it's that the forearm area is similar to a telecaster in that there is no contour there. It was causing discomfort for me for the first week or so, but I've adapted subconsciously and don't even notice it anymore.
