The best semi permanent dye I've used
1 of 1 found this helpful I've only tried 3 different brands of semi permanent dye so far, but Splat has been the best. I currently have Crimson obsession in my hair, & though it's no longer perfectly bright, it's not a terribly faded mess either.
I've tried most of Splat's dyes, some individually, others in s rainbow. This will be the second time I've used purple desire. It starts out as a blue toned purple, but fades to a pinkish lavender.
Splat's dyes do run in the shower, but I've never had the colors bleed into one another in my hair. Crimson obsession did rub off onto the white wall when it was still new, but it was easy to whipe off with soap & water. Purple desire did rub off on pillow cases. None of the other colors have rubbed off so far.
I recommend Splat for anyone that plans to keep their hair dyed the same color for a while. If you change your hair color frequently, you might want to consider a different brand. While Splat works well for me, your milage may vary.
