Very nice piece.
Love the slip out drawer. Makes it easier to fill while inside my cabinet. Beautiful quality as well

Flimsy and poor quality
I would not purchase this again. The only reason why I gave this 2 stars is that it is attractive. The walls were easy to assemble, but when you get to the roof, forget it! Total pain in the you-know-where! The problem is that the material is so flimsy, the screws don't even bite. So nothing holds. Directions are a joke, might aswell just throw them away. It's close to impossible to get the ceiling panels lined up and angled properly and there are 6 of them to line up. The best way to do it, is by having someone short stand inside and hold the panels in place while you set them all in place. With the person inside backing the panels, you can then line up the wood trim on the top to screw onto the panels and hope that the scews bite. I accidentally slipped my driver off the head of screws from the underside, (I added more of my own screws to the underside for extra strength. Not in the instructions. ) and went through the panel like a sheet of paper. I then noticed that the roof panels were hollow like a cheap interior hollow-core door. All the wood used to make this feels like soft balsa wood, (think of the old wooden rubber band airplanes we used to play with as a kid).
As another reviewer stated, this might be fine for finches or a couple doves if they don't chew, other than that, it might not hold up well. It's still new to us, so we will see what our conures and caique will do to it. Also, I can't imagine this will hold up well with the colder seasons and snow here in Spokane, Wa. It really should be treated with some water seal, but that would be toxic and most likely fatel to the birds, so I will most likely store it in my garage once it gets too cold for the birds to go out. I just hope it doesn't fall apart when I move it.
We shall see how my ratings for this will drop after a season or two.
One more gripe... when we were shopping around for this item, sellers were listing it with different dimensions. Saying it is 60" wide by almost 6' tall. This is misleading as I'm thinking those dimensions are from wall to wall and height of the roof line. You know, usable space. In reality, those measurements are from one of the corner points on the outer edge of the roof to the opposite point on the other side. And to the very tip of the point on the roof is like 70"/ almost 6'. When I shop for cages, I would like interior dimensions of the cage. The actual usable dimensions to be listed as well as out dimensions incase clearance is an issue.
Ohwell, hope my review helps. Wish I had seen a review like this when I puchased it. I would not have bought it then.
