Volvo Penta New OEM Trim & Tilt Hydraulic Cylinder Ram 3860881 DP DPX SP

Bad fitting threads on the top holes.

had to replace old leaking trim cylinders on my penta duo prop. Both new cylinders I received had one out of the 4 flare fittings that wouldn't seat properly due to miss aligned threads. both cylinders leak at the same fitting from the same problem. I had to use my boat so I ended up pulling the rod assembly out of the new cylinders and installing them in the correctly tapped old cylinder bodies. For $800.00 these parts should have been of decent quality and bolted right up!
