Best Light Duty Live Center ever made...
Live Centers generally are not "set it and forget it" items; you have to check preload and tension as the work heats up and cools down... But the Concentric Live Center is different. It is spring loaded and will maintain consistent contact with the work. Preload the live center about 3/32" to 1/16" and then forget it. This one can handle a total of 7/32" of preload. It can handle most commonly-turned material's shrinkage and expansion on work out to about 30". This is my third Riten/Concentric (my first was purchased over 30 years ago). Make sure to grease it per manufacturer recommendations and it will last forever. The unit is also factory servicable.

Good drill bit.
These are for use in Lathes: Cuts through case-hardened tool steel like it was butter at reasonable RPM and feed rates. Tool has processed several dozen parts with no appreciable loss of sharpness.
