Jimmy Cliff revisited
Jimmy Cliff was my boywood idol. His style of music inspired me throughout my university years. I grew up when the Viet Nam war was raging and the world was stunned. His protest song gave many of us something to cheer ourselves with. There were some tunes like "Hard road to travel", Many Rivers to Cross" and many more that do echoe in my ears. I kept wondering where was I going to get the chance to listen to these songs again? An idea dawned on me that I should try Ebay. I was not disappointed. I saw few Cds sdvertised. I won one and used the "Buy Now" option. Both CDs are treasured by me. I think I am now reliving the '60s. My view is that Jimmy Cliff is under rated. He is a gifted song writer and vocalist.
