Good value for the price
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this identical filter elsewhere for $50 about 2 years ago. I was concerned that the lightweight plastic fittings would not hold up, but that hasn't proved to be true. It operates quietly, is no harder to prime than most other canisters, holds plenty of media to do a good job of cleaning the water. The rubber suction cups on the spraybar have disintegrated, but they are easy to replace. In fact I just got a glass lily pipe setup and it turns out that the orignal green plastic intake tube does a better job!
Reason for replacing: I broke the housing so it now leaks, this is entirely my fault and NOT a design flaw. So I will definitely buy this same filter again, it works great!

Better than what's available locally
Bought this as a gift, I specifically wanted a zipper wallet for my husband who is a welder. If he carries a regular wallet it gets full of grit which destroys the cards, and if made of thin leather it doesn't hold up well either. This one has all the features we need: minimal bulk when folded shut, metal zipper, fairly heavy leather. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is we aren't yet sure if the zipper will survive him, the stitching and metal teeth might be casualties of his extreme work environment.

Versatile Artist
I purchased this CD from curiosity as I think Ryan may be a distant relative, but I knew nothing about him as a musician. I was amazed how well he manages to showcase his percussion skills without leaving you feeling that you're just listening to a drummer. There's a refreshing variety of songs for all tastes, and they run the gamut of moods as well. A good investment!
