Smooth application with "minimal" odor

Two coats of product "over wallpaper with some metallic foil in it" followed by two coats of semi-gloss paint worked very well. Product is labeled as "Odorless", however, it does have "some odor" that is low level and does require some ventilation. I used it in two bathrooms with no windows, so opening a nearby window and turning on exhaust fans in the ceiling were adequate to ventilate. Odor did linger for a couple days and gradually diminished utilizing this approach. Putting a solid air-freshner in the bathroom also helped. Ability to cover gold & brown colors in the wallpaper with two coats was very good. One gallon was adequate to cover 3-walls with two coats in each bathroom plus two coats on one ceiling in the small bath. Utilizing product in a larger space with better ventilation may result in less noticeable odor. Level of odor did not stop us from utilizing the bathrooms over those two days. I would recommend this product, however, due to being oil-based it does require mineral spirits for clean-up.

Smoke Detector Replacement

This product was ordered to replace an earlier model installed in my home in 2001. This is a hard wired detector with plug-in on back of detector, same as my older model. It takes less than 5-minutes to unplug, remove old detector & mounting ring and put up new mounting ring and connect detector to existing plug-in wiring. No modifications required. Unit comes with 9V battery already installed in unit. The easiest replacement process I've ever had with a smoke detector, hard wired or not. I'm 69-yrs old so if I can do it, anyone can.
