Awesome Game! Great Series!
I played the Gettysburg and Antietam games in the Battleground series back when they first came out. The Civil war was my passion when I was in middle and high school and these games were at the top of my "most played" list. I never played Bull Run until now. I am planning a trip to all three battlefields this summer and in planning my trip I compared the map of Antietam in the game to the maps I reviewed and it is amazing how accurate they were. Battleground 7 Bull Run covers the two battles at Manassas Juncation and some of the action leading up to them. If you have played one of the American Civil War games in the series then you know what to expect. I installed the game on a Windows 7 PC and it does run. I get a random error that I also got with the other two games however it doesn't impact the save file. I bought Bull Run to add to my collection and to also use it as a educational resource. I used the maps and some of the scenarios to better educate myself about the battlefields in preparation for my trip.
