Works just like the OEM one!

I was having a problem with too much water being dispensed into the ice tray. this started happening after the frig was 8 years old. No info on the internet about this issue. When the ice maker turned over to drop the ice into the container, it was just pieces of ice not cubes. On a whim I decided to swap out the ice maker to see if this would solve the issue. This did the trick and fixed my problem. I am getting perfect sized (whole) ice cubes. Installed 2 weeks ago and it' working fine. I cant speak of the long term reliability, but for now it's great.
