Great for Home Theater
2 of 2 found this helpful Bought this for a home theater project in my basement. The previous homeowner left behind a high quality projector and some speakers so I decided to rebuild the home theater. I replaced the speakers and all the cables, bought a new receiver, and built a new screen with high quality material, unlike the original that was the cheapest I've seen. Since we added Xbox and Wii game consoles, a 3D Blu-Ray DVD player, and a cable box I needed some protection and more outlets for the all the electronics. I shopped around and not wanting to spend big bucks on a high end surge protector that could cost several times more, my research found that this surge protector offered excellent value for the money. I mounted it on the wall near the components and this resulted in having all the power cords and coax for the cable box off the floor. The wife likes this new setup so she can vacuum the carpet without having to move all the cords. I also like the way some of the outlets can be rotated for odd power supply plugs. Overall, I'm impressed with the quality and price point and would buy another if I need to replace this one or add one elsewhere in the house.

Cleared up our cloudy pool
Our pool company analyzed our pool water and said it was chemically near perfect even though we had a little cloudiness. It wasn't as clear as should be. The previous owner had a small bottle of this stuff in the pool shed so I tried it and in two days the water was crystal clear! This large bottle is the best value I could find for this product and I'll use it regularly from now on to keep the water crystal clear.

Very Handy
I got tired of holding my Gerber Cortex Compact flashlight in my mouth so I could use two hands. This headlight works great when you need both hands and I really like the different output settings, I don't always need a very bright light. The up/down adjustments are solid with a click at each position. The body is metal unlike many other brands that are plastic. Being water resistant helps too when I'm outside in the rain. My father liked it so much I ordered another one for his birthday!
