Not new, not factory unlocked
8 of 8 found this helpful This was not factory unlocked! When the device starts up it clearly displays the T-Mobile logo on the screen. This phone was a gift for someone in Germany, so I was worried it wouldn't work over there because it wasn't factory unlocked. They initially had trouble with the SIM card being read by the phone, it would show No SIM error on the top of the screen. They took it to Vodafone to see what was wrong. The worker said the phone had apparent signs of water damage, but was able to get the phone to read the SIM card. So this phone was advertised as New and factory unlocked, but was actually refurbished and not factory unlocked. Had the samsung had anymore problems it would have been returned.
