It works but only for certain stemware
Cons
- Very bulky; uses up a lot of space in the dishwasher.
- Not really universal. Short stemware will not fit, thick stems will not fit, too tall stemware will not fit.
Pros
If you have the right size and type of stemware, it works. I like efficiency of just popping my stemware onto it and just put it in the bottom rack with the assurance that it will not be dinged and it will not accumulate water on the base of the glasses.

We installed it on our French doors to the backyard so small kids cannot get to the pool unattended. Pretty good for that purpose. But it will not hold back intruders since it is just plastic. Heavy duty but not strong enough to stop a determined thief. Make sure you have a security system arming the door.
