DO NOT USE THIS GLUE ON FOAM SURROUNDS!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful I have re-foamed a number of speakers and was a little suspicious when I saw that this looked and smelled like Duco cement which sets up fairly fast. A good foam adhesive should have a thicker consistency. Foolishly, I attempted to use it and it started to set up in a few seconds. You will NOT have time to accurately position your surround. Any excess glue on your speaker cone will NOT be removable after about 10 seconds without tearing the surface of any paper cone. This product destroyed my Speaker! It may be OK for sealing ripped cones or other uses but DON'T use it for foam surrounds as advertised!!!
