Solved my problem!

I have been using the fan sounds. It sounds like they actually recorded different fans so one can find a pitch that is comfortable. The sound is smooth with no sense of a playback loop. It is capable of a lot more volume than I would care to use. It plugs into a USB port for power, and a 120 volt adapter is included. If there was a power outage, it could be run off a USB power bank (it's portable). I have no issues or complaints regarding this item- recommended.

Mostly good, but there are issues-

The programming is simple and it does what it is supposed to do. But I do have two complaints. The output end is just an internal switch, so I had to run jumpers over from the power input. This means, in two line sockets, I have two wires plugged into the sockets. And- these line sockets are separated by a 1/16 of an inch. It is too close for 120 volt wires- too easy to short across. So I would like to see the design improved by routing the power to the output internally and providing more space between power line sockets.

I am VERY pleased with this laptop. It is working well for me. I don't like Windows and immediately installed Linux Mint Mate. This machine is a bit slow, so not recommended for serious gamers. But it is fine for wondering around on the internet and it does fine with Youtube videos. One small concern is that users cannot replace the power battery.
