For fans only!
Overall good - I was surprised that they were able to fit the whole story into 2 audio tapes, but they did it with minimal skipping. What's lost is some of the narration, descriptions of the ship, planets etc and side stories about life on other worlds. The audio is low on the narration and comes up loud for effects and music. I was not prepared at all for the Ol Janx Spirit song. Anyway if you're a fan of the Hitchhiker's books you'll want to get this audio book just for nostalgia's sake and to say you've got it in your collection. I'll listen again, after I burn it to disc and throw it into my iTunes. Cassette tapes are so passe now!

My bird enjoyed every recipe!
A+ book for a novice cook and a loving bird caretaker :) our little feathered gourmet enjoys dining with the family, because we are his flock and flock IS family. Preparing foods for him with healthy, locally sourced ingredients is important to us and this guide has been a huge help in mixing up his menu to keep things interesting! Whenever he hears clattering of crockery in the kitchen he comes pigeon toeing in to see what I’m up to… hoping I’m making him a birdy bread, chopped salad or omelette!

Enjoyable Easy Read! Full of Wit & Wisdom
I laughed cover to cover - this book would make an amusing gift for anyone who enjoys expressing themselves in creative or quaint ways. Some of these expressions I actually heard used my my Norwegian cousins (søskenbarn) and farfar (Pop-Pop) and they brought back warm memories. My favorite phrase of all time was this though: Er ikke dårlig vær, bare dårlige klær. (There is no bad weather, only bad clothes). TRUTH
