Petzl ACCU CORE rechargeable battery, for use with compact lamps New 2017 Model

Very economic and a greener option

I use the battery back with the actik 300lum headlamp. It burns through AAA pretty fast in high setting. The mid setting (100lum) is a bit too dim for me. So this rechargable pack saves money and is green for the envionment. Down side is the price ($49 what I paid), it dies after few hours on high setting (2.0hr) and charging time. A walk around to a quicker charge is using a Samsung fast charger adapter.

Over priced

Very small display for time, the alarm and radio volume is way too low for a typical sleeper. Over priced for the value(IMO). Good aspects are: there's a back up battery for main power loss, it works well, and it's easy to set up and program.
