Never forget "Never Fall Down"
Never Fall Down is an extremely powerful story about one boy's brave survival of the Khmer Rouge attacks in Cambodia. It is difficult to read about the torture, killings, and pain that people suffered during this time. However, the world knows too little about this tragic period. About a third of the Cambodian population was killed. This book provides important insights into this time. The survival of this boy teaches unforgettable lessons about the human spirit. I also recommend Loung Ung's book First They Killed My Father.
