moog parts
well, only one of the parts sent to me was a moog, the other was a national part, and moog is the stuff, if you are restoring good function to a 1991 ford taurus police package vehicle, with a 3.0 posi-trac trans...sadly, the studs that were in it were "long-studs", but, the thickness of the studs was thinner than the police standard wheel stud for the spindle...i am thinking the police garage was drilling the spindle a slight amount, to a larger letter, or number drill size, and running the special police wheel stud( i have purchased 20 of them), and...you can really feel the difference in the ride, and that's the exciting thing, the moog wheel bearings really ride like the original police issue parts, that were heavy duty units, i would suggest them to any ford taurus owner, if they can get a set...drilling for the larger studs is likely a thing done at the city garage when the police cruiser was first acquired by the department it was assigned to...no sweat, i have a drill, and i can measure the holes of my original worn-out part...best wishes, john kruschke-- :o)
