Perfect lap desk

Some years ago, I bought a lap desk very similar in appearance to this one. The big difference was, its cushion was filled with microbeads. In the past year or so, I noticed that the microbeads were leaking out. So I decided to buy a new lap desk with a memory foam cushion. This one is perfect, and it should last me for many more years. PS: I got rid of the old lap desk's microbead cushion, replaced it with a baby-size memory foam cushion, and now I am giving the old lap desk to my granddaughter!

So far, so good...

I've only been using this for about a week or so, but it seems to work fine. I'd never tried keeping butter out of the fridge before, but I decided to give it a shot so that I can stop buying the Land O Lakes tubs of softened, spreadable butter. At room temp, this keeps butter soft but manageable and easy to spread. The lid snaps off and on easily for cleaning. I have other butter dishes, but I like having this one on the kitchen counter because it is unbreakable.
