Small & effective
The ADC Summit is a great tool I use for skiing. I bought it mainly for the clock because I teach on Saturdays & have time limits for lunch & leaving. But when I first started my research for a waterproof, caribeener clock, I started finding small tools w/ altimeters too. I purchased one off of Amazon only to return it. I found another model of the ADC from Brunton @ a local outdoor store & knew the Brunton name was more trusted than the model I returned.
All that said, this altimeter is fairly accurate according to what Google states for elevation of my local mountain. The temperature, anemometer, & barometric pressure features are nice & seem to be accurate as well.
The only downside is the ease of use. Each button can be short pressed & then long pressed to result in a different function. The 2pg mini directions are a little confusing like the buttons--but I did finally manage to figure out the ski run counting feature which was the most important.

Great leaders ENCOURAGE others often!
John Maxwell's principles of leadership have stood the test of time both in & out of the faith-based communities. But if you've read any of his books, you know it's tough to do all of these great skills w/out love & this book is about about loving people & encouraging them! In my opinion, it's a must read!

entry level, but fun!
I owned 3 RC cars before finally getting into a nitro Revo 3.3 a few years back. Sold that for a 1/10th scale Summit which I love so I'm used to really good craftsmanship. The Ruckus seems well built but I wasn't impressed with the battery clips & housing. I understand that for keeping it free from debris & water, it's sealed the way it is. For an adult--they're just fine--but for getting my 5yr old daughter into the sport to join me--it seems a little less than ideal. The radio seems to have great range & if we were to have more tile in our house--it would be the perfect indoor RC car! Overall--I'm satisfied & will just have to teach my daughter that I'm the only one who can get the battery out & charge it for a while.
